I hate lineup changes.

I know it's inevitable in a business that is so fluid. No one can ask of you to stay with the same group of people for any period of time and I can applaud bands who can do it, or who can grow together instead of separately. Looking from the outside in, being in a band is almost like being in a marriage. You can choose to nurture your members individual growths and your band evolves in kind or you split ways because at the end of the day that decision makes you happy.

So although I'm sad to see Ian Crawford go from The Cab, I understand the decision and I hope whatever his next endeavor is goes well and I hope the Cab still keeps that upbeat pop sound and they don't come away from this any different.

Ooh, I totally get that. :/ One of my favorites, Barenaked Ladies, recently let go of one of their founding members because he wanted to embark on a solo career. On one hand, it's kind of cool -- because you can see what their own tastes are and open yourself up to a more personal brand of music from them. On the other, it sucks because it feels like something's... well, missing. In this case, the guy who left did vocals and probably wrote half of the band's songs; so it's a pretty big loss. I'm trying to look on the brighter side of things, though; since their most recent album integrated the other members' vocals and lyrics, it might not be such a bad idea.

I'm not familiar with The Cab, though... do you have any song recs for them?

Meh, I usually like poppy. Better than heavy, screamy stuff.♥

LOL. Never thought I'd hear Stump and Urie on the same track; I've gotta check that out, if only for the novelty of it... I've always thought their voices sounded eerily similar.

Ooh, no need; I've got soulseek and uTorrent! Thanks for the offer though. Like I said, I'll give them a try.
